Eight members of Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association led by their Chairman Cllr. David Hurt attended the Annual Conservative Party Conference in Manchester this week. The Representatives enjoyed Conference sessions, and fringe meetings, met Shadow Cabinet members and discussed the major policies presented at the event.
On Tuesday evening they joined colleagues from Old Bexley and Sidcup and Erith and Thamesmead Conservatives for a social dinner at an Italian restaurant near the Conference centre.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the week was David Camerons speech setting out the Conservative commitment to “family, community and country”.
Among the group attending Conference were David Evennett MP and Bexley Council Leader Cllr. Teresa O’Neill.
