MPs get Olympics update

David Evennett MP is pictured with Lord Coe, Chairman of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games during the London 2012 Parliamentary reception at the House of Commons on Wednesday 14 July.
 
Guests heard from former athlete Jonathan Edwards, Lord Coe, Olympic Delivery Authority Chairman Jon Armitt and Sports & Olympics Minister Hugo Robertson MP about the progress being made on construction, Team GB’s preparations and the Olympic Legacy.
 
Mr Evennett said "With less than two years to go until the Olympics, interest is growing, and I am pleased to note progress is being made in the organisation and development of the Games".
